	Curtis Roads / Todd Barton CD NEKO-28CD / Dec.2020 Due to ongoing demand: Expanded reissue of this cassette release from 2016. All the original material, of course, but also an exclusive Todd Barton remix/re-work of Roads's source material. The original cassette-only release featured a noisy and pontillistic version of a new piece by professor Roads, a spiraling train crash bordering on harsh noise... and Krell music by Barton: outerworldly space contemplations, with a touch of a distant future from a parallel past. Todd Barton is a tireless Buchla educator and synthesis explorer from Oregon. Curtis Roads is a pioneer of granular synthesis and algorithmic composition from California. Both are legendary figures of electronic music and I'm super proud to present this release to the world.
	SM/DP : Fault-Tolerant System CD NEKO-32 / Nov.2017 This is electronic contamination music. A long distance collaboration between Suorsa Marko / Dassum Pentti. It's 1% junk noise and 99% computer music, spectrogranular synthesis, modular patch feedback loops, sample scanning manipulations and a variety of processing techniques (GRM Tools, Hourglass, Reaktor, etc etc). An uncomfortable balance between academic sterility and a fist in a blender. File under electroacoustic noise and insekt elektronix. 300 made SOLD OUT
	UMPIO: Sähköinen Ekstaasi CDR NEKO-31 / Dec.2016 Harsh elektronix bordering on lazershit. Hyperactive no-input/feedback/cut-up voltage diarrhea from custom built devices by Absent and Bastard Noise. Tapes from 2011 rediscovered in 2016. 50 made and gone.
	UMPIO + PINK TWINS : Aura Tan C-40 Tape NEKO-30 / July 2016 Pink Twins scrambled up my junk sounds and i scrambled up their electronix. We did this f2f, so it's not a mail collab. The result is a rich textured mindfuck. On sweet chrome tapes, 1:1 duplication. 75 made, comes with a postcard. Co-released with Pink Twins Media. SOLD OUT
	UMPIO vs MAAAA Split C-40 Tape NEKO-29 / Apr.2016 Loud shit on 1:1 dubbed chrome tapes. Akustik junk destruction, mostly. MAAAA material vulturized from "Поджигая Кукковского Петуха" tape. Umpio material from a session without contact mics, but with a foot switch muting/opening one channel of feedbacks. 50 made and gone.
	TODD BARTON / CURTIS ROADS Split C-40 Tape NEKO-28 / Apr.2016 Prof. Curtis Roads (CA, USA) has influenced tons of people with his explorations in granular synthesis in the 70’s, his books on computer sounds, and with his music, which has shaped, among others, the sound of Autechre. Here we have a very noisy version of a new composition called “Then”, specially driven in the red for this release. Pointillistic and harsh!! Todd Barton (OR, USA) is a lecturer and flag-carrier for Buchla synths. Here we have 2 long pieces in the spirit of Krell music, that is: linear compositions of outerworldly space contemplations, balancing between controlled chaos and clarity, with a touch of a distant future from a parallel past. 150 made, 1:1 duplication, comes with a postcard. 	BURNTABLE C-40 Tape NEKO-22 / Nov.2012 Harsh and hyperactive turntablism from South Korean noisicians Choi Joonyong, Hong Chulki, Joe Foster, Ryu Hankil and Takahiro Kawaguchi, taking this style to very loud and shredding dimensions. 100 made on transparent tapes with onbody prints.
	UMPIO: Opium Electronix Vol.II CDR NEKO-21 / Oct.2012 Two slow hypnodrone compositions clocking in at 50+ minutes. Electronic interferences to erase all thought and sense of time. No junk metal abuse, only the extracted sounds of abandoned circuitboards and brainwave synthesis. 100 made in "slim DVD" cases. SOLD OUT
	RIKO GOTO TRIO : Six Colors CD NEKO-20 / Feb.2013 Xlent piano jazz trio. Riko Goto from Japan meets Eki Joutseno and Tapani Varis from Finland. Spooky stuff compiled from demos and live recordings, making this a prequel to their upcoming releases. I had my setup there for some fx overdubs for a few tracks. 2 blocks of harsh junk demolition. No progress, just regression. 	TIM KAISER : Insect Mantras C40 -Tape NEKO-10 / July 2011 Tim Kaiser builds amazing nonstruments and here we have a trippy album of strange musical architecture. At the time of this release TK was collaborating with Sleazy Christopherson / TG, but then the unfortunate happened. Creepy material! 100 made on yellow tapes with onbody prints.

	BUDDHA MIND BIG BAND : In Time CD NEKO-05 / Aug.2010 Tibetan monastery music by Eki Joutseno, Otto Eskelinen and PD. BMBB is envisioned by Eki and has a varying line-up. Dissonant woodwinds, klonkin metals, bowls... Free running levitation, not always too peaceful. 500 made, co-released with Ikuisuus Records, sold out, and now living at Ikuisuus Bandcamp. SOLD OUT

	UMPIO : Junk Electronix Vol.I CD NEKO-03 / Aug.2010 The first album. Different techniques and a fuck you to EBM and other shit that's "marketed" as industrial music. For me true industrial music is in the spirit of machinery, collapsing architecture, overdrive discipline and filthy sound. Kinda co-released with Ähky Records, but in the end they didn't really come through, hate to say... 500 made in 7" sleeve with postcard. SOLD OUT
	DOROGA : I CD NEKO-02 / Aug.2010 Collaboration duo with Martinkauppi (Hinageshi Bondage / Haare / Gunk). Slow meditation music, deep ritual hypnosis, gongs and flutes. After this came a noisier tape on ObscureX and one track on STEIN compilation, and that was it. Co-released with Ikuisuus Records. 500 made in 7" sleeve with postcard. SOLD OUT
	UMPIO : Karu I + III C-40 Tape NEKO-01 / Apr.2010 The early vertical rack recordings and a bit shy composition, more enthusiasm than skill. As Vulpes reviewed somewhere: "Power ambient for men" but i would say it's slowly built-up heaviness. Here were the 1st and 3rd installment, cos Karu II was a much harsher/faster completeness, and that came out on CDR via Musapojat label. 50 made on chrome tapes. SOLD OUT
